Allah – What do you think of Him; the Creator?
How do you see Allah’s law? Too rigid? Impossible to practice in the modern era? Hindrance to your dreams? You feel like an outcast? Oh beloved creation of Allah, know that His laws are neither too rigid, nor impossible to practice at any time. They don’t keep you from skyrocketing to the top.
Permit me to wipe your lens through which you view the laws, so that I can show you the perfect picture Allah has created for you.
Allah says,
“And will provide for him from where he doesn’t expect and whoever relies upon Allah then he is sufficient for him. Indeed Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a (decreed) extent.”
(Surah At-Talaq 65, Verse No. 3)
Oh beloved creation of Allah, didn’t you see Allah’s promise with those who walk on His path? Whoever has full trust in Him will not be forsaken. Trust is obeying His laws and believing in the great rewards He has in store for us.
“And will reward them for what they patiently endured with a garden (in paradise) and silk garments. They will be reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any (burning) sun or (freezing) cold. And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance. And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and Cups having been (created ) clear (as glass).
(Surah Al-Insan 76, Verse No. 12-15)
Work throughout our lives
What a delight to be among these people Allah has described, but we have to work throughout our lives to please Allah and be grateful to Him always. So dear beloved creation of Allah, be the kind of Muslim that strives to please your Rabb. Be among those who try not to compromise on eternal success for material gains. Surely that’s not extremism, but sticking to the fundamentals.
For instance, let us consider the order of taking hijab. Do not see it as something that draws you back. See yourself as a walking verse that talks about hijab. He loves you very much and only wants to protect you from the evil attached to unveiling. It doesn’t stop you from taking education, doing job, or performing other tasks that woman has to do in today’s era. Be sure that His laws are everlasting and are never detrimental to our success either worldly or eternal.
You should also remember your main purpose of creation.
“And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.”
(Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51, Verse No. 56)
So why overlook the perpetual life for this temporary one. We can live on this earth for 150 years but we have to wait in the grave for CENTURIES till the judgment day. So it’s how you spend your life in this world, that determines how splendid the life after death will be.
Oh beloved creation of Allah the more you submit to His will, the more tranquility you will find in your heart.
“Those who believe, and whose hearts find their rest in the remembrance of God – for, verily, in the remembrance of God [men’s] hearts do find their rest”.
(Surah Ar-Ra’d 13, Verse No. 28)

If I revere Allah, why does he seem to impart favoritism among us? Why does he answer the Duas of some and not others? Why does he favor some who literally appear to be less faithful, while permitting hardship on those who are most humble and subservient?
I don’t know.
If we make Dua for ourselves, albeit, ineffectively. Can’t our brothers and sisters make Dua for us…effectively?
Isn’t it natural for some of us to look back upon our time; our lives, praying fervently to Allah, only to measure that against our mounting deprivation and suffering?
We come here online and look for help, because despite our best efforts and intentions, we feel Allah has forgotten us. Yet, even here, help is eludes us. Then, we become desperate and turn to alternative methods to secure favorable responses from Allah. People make promises of guarantees from Wazifa…but even those don’t seem to work.
How can this emptiness not make a faithful subject question Allah?
